Education:

One of the main goals of Leather and Leis is providing excellent education.
We are pleased to have outstanding presenters who are eager to teach,
mentor, play and have a good time.

                                                                        
Retreat site:

Leather and Leis is held on a 20 acre event site located in the coastal jungle
overlooking  the deep blue pacific ocean. The accommodations have no need
for heating or air conditioning. The rooms have been designed to have more screens
than windows to maximize the air flow of the trade winds and to allow you take the
views. There are no televisions or phones in the rooms.

  

                                                                            
Meals:

3 times a day you will  hear the call of the conch shell for a feast of succulent dining: organic fruits and vegetables grown on the property, and locally grown meats
and freshly caught fish.

                                                                         
Dungeon:

The 24 hour dungeon has 5000 square feet of play space on a suspended wood
floor where anything and everything can and will happen. The space is equipped with
a professional sound system equipped with Ipod docks and lighting system. Large restrooms, showers and filtered water fountains.

                                                                   
Off Site Adventures:

We do something that no other event we know of does, we offer FREE off site
adventures! Off site excursions will offer you a chance to see things that are found nowhere else on this earth. Walk across the street to a clothing optional black sand beach. Take a short ride after the sunsets to watch the Hawaiian goddess of
fire ( Pele ) work her magic and see the earth grow right before your eyes. Walk
in 10,000 year old lava tubes and see a petrified forest frozen in time.

                                                                     
Leather Pride:

Leather and Leis is a leather event. We do not see ourselves as a fetish event
yet we welcome all fetishes, but what we are creating is family. We are a small
event, 150 max, and when you come you will feel the family vibe. We hear all the
time that new folks have no trouble making friends and feeling safe...we do this on purpose. We want you to find a home with us, a place that once a year you can
come and enjoy the people you have come to know as family.  What this means
for us to be leather is that we have values, and traditions we honor, and we
watch each others backs, even people we don't know, and  once you are
here you are family.

We are so excited to see old friends, make new ones. We strive to create a safe,
diverse, inspiring, challenging, indulgent, magical environment, but in order for it to
work, we must all embrace the basic values of respect, tolerance, acceptance, openness, and non-judgmental support.
